You'll find "vintage" Southwest ambiance, "brilliant sun and friendly faces" at this "relaxed" resort for both business and leisure; loyalists laud the "considerate" staff, the "ultracozy" beds and the freeway location convenient to the airport, zoo and shopping malls, but dissenters describe rooms with a slighty "shabby" sheen, saying it "needs weather stripping, soundproofing" ("I could hear a couple arguing on one side and a baby crying on the other") and new "bathroom fixtures."

Rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.
The area it was in was not good. The rooms appeared to be more of a motel look than resort.

It appears that the hotel was originally a motel. Some changes in the main lobby and area were presented as a hotel but the rooms looked like motel rooms and the ambiance was similar to motel rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. ...read more

The outside is nice.
The rooms.

I think if the fire dept had to do an inspection I don't think it would pass their code, their plug outlet don't work and the covers are all lose, they were using an extension cord on the outlets, when you have more then 1 person staying in the room and their no outlets that work but only 1 that is inconvenience. Their bathroom doors don't close all the way and lock, and when you take a shower the water fills up in the tub, sheets were dirty, found a receipt on the floor from someone else. ...read more

Nice hotel for the price. Very clean and well-kept. The decor is a little dated, but the grounds are attractive and the pool/hot tub is great. Also, there is a free shuttle to the airport which is only 10 minutes away. ...read more
